About Urban Heartbeat

Five weeks. Seven walls. Over 70 artists. Action artist and painter, Jim Avignon, at the invitation of the Goethe-Institut in Mexico, embarked on a tour of Central America and the Caribbean, creating magic as he went. The German artist, together with local street artists of the region, transformed grey walls in many capital cities into open air works of art. READ MORE... The Berlin artist Jim Avignon is known for the speed with which he creates his art pieces, whether it's on canvas, cars or entire walls.

Nicaraguan Alicia Zamora has 16 years experience in graphic and experimental urban demonstrations, as well as in workshops and conferences all around Europe, Central America and the Caribbean.

The DJ Holger Beier has gained fame as a producer for the "Mexican Institute of Sound" and from his work in Berlin and São Paulo.
